We are seeking a skilled Legal Negotiator to join our debt settlement company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in debt resolution, contract negotiations, and an understanding of legal compliance within the financial services industry. The role involves working directly with creditors, attorneys, and clients to negotiate favorable settlements on outstanding debts.
Legal Negotiator Responsibilities:
- Conduct negotiations with creditors, attorneys, and collection agencies to secure the best possible settlements for clients within specified timelines
- Manage a portfolio of cases, ensuring all settlements align with client expectations and company policies
- Keep detailed notes and records of all communication with clients and creditors
- Prepare and review settlement agreements and ensure all documentation adheres to legal and regulatory standards
- Accurately record case activities and outcomes in company systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
- Address and resolve disputes or challenges related to settlements
- Cultivate and sustain professional rapport with internal teams and affiliates
- Ability to work closely with the Negotiations team
Legal Negotiator Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Legal Debt Negotiator
- Ability to handle a heavy workload, multitask and be a team player
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven track record of successful negotiation and conflict resolution
- Confident in building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Dependability and Punctuality a must
- Ability to provide and maintain an secure, professional remote work environment

Hours(PST)
- M-TH: 8:00am-5:00pm PST; M-Th: 9:00am-6:00pm EST
- F: 8:00am-3:00pm PST. F: 9:00am-4:00pm EST
- Base pay is $18-$20 per hour DOE
- Competitive commissions are paid monthly based on revenue production
