Purpose
The Sales Manager provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and people development for all Sales functions within Pacific Debt Relief. This role ensures consistent enrollment performance, compliance excellence, and alignment with company goals to drive client acquisition, operational efficiency, and team growth.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute sales strategies that drive annulment growth, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Translate organizational goals into clear sales targets, KPI frameworks, and performance objectives for all sales teams.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Operations to optimize lead flow conversion, and customer experience.
- Evaluate sales policies, processes, and scripts to ensure consistency, scalability, and continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee daily Sales operations, ensuring leads are contacted efficiently, follow-up protocols are followed and enrollments meet internal and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and analyze sales data using CRM and reporting tools to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, QU, and IT to drive automation, enhance sales systems, and reduce inefficiencies.
- Ensure adherence to ethical sales practices and PDR’s compliance standards in all client interactions.
Leadership and People Development
- Provide direct leadership and coaching to Sales Team Leads and Sales Representatives.
- Foster a high-performance culture centered on accountability, motivation, and skill development.
- Conduct one-on-one and group coaching sessions focused on communication, conversion techniques, and compliance adherence.
- Develop leadership plans and identify career progression pathways within the sales department.
- Lead with transparency, collaboration, and alignment with PDR’s cultural values.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Negotiations and Client Services leadership to ensure seamless client handoffs and cohesive customer journeys.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Analytics to refine lead generation and improve conversion performance.
- Participate in leadership meetings to provide insight on sales trends, projections, and opportunities for strategic alignment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum 3+ years in sales leadership within the debt relief or financial services industry.
- Proven ability to lead teams of 20+ in a high-volume, metrics-driven environment.
- Deep understanding of debt relief compliance standards (FTC, TSR, and state-specific rules)
- Strong communication and coaching skills with a track record of developing top-performing salespeople.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Forth CRM preferred), reporting dashboards, and lead management workflows.
- Data-driven mindset with a strong analytical and problem-solving orientation.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly enrollment goals, with ≥80% of team members meeting individual quotas.
- Maintenance of conversion rates, contact rates, and QA compliance above established benchmarks.
- Reduction in lead response times and increase in contact-to-enrollment efficiency.
- Demonstrated leadership engagement and low turnover within the sales department.
- Continuous improvement in training effectiveness and sales process optimization.
